Thankful Thursday

As students have become more comfortable in the class and with each other, it has been a beautiful thing to be able to begin our day together asking for prayer requests. This may be a foreign term to some and so I have defined it for the students as “something we would like to ask God for, or something we would like to say ‘thank You’ to God for.”  Students are more than willing to share.

Today I began our day as Thankful Thursday and we used our prayer time to say ‘thank You’ to God for His many gifts to us.

Here are some of the things that our class is thankful for:

For Mummy

For God

For school

For winter

For Grandma

For being able to join our class, even on Zoom

For my sister

For my friends

For my baby [that is on its way soon]

For the world

For everybody!

In it all (whatever “it” may be) may we have eyes to see.
