Tuition Fees

Kingston Christian School is a private school and per our Society’s policy, we offer family-rate tuition, which applies to all siblings living in a household. We do not receive government funding and rely on a combination of tuition fees and donations in order to sustain operations.

As a registered charity, a portion of the tuition paid normally qualifies for a charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes. Our financial auditors use CRA guidelines to calculate a “Cost Per Student” that is deducted from the tuition, and the family is receipted for the balance. As the deduction is per student, the donation receipt is smaller for larger families. Receipts are issued in February following the close of the previous calendar year and can vary from year to year.

Generally, families pay their tuition in either ten or twelve equal payments, from July to April or July to June, through pre-authorized withdrawals.

Alternate plans are easy to accommodate and can be arranged with the office.

Schedule of Fees

  • Registration Deposit: A $500 deposit is required upon registration and is applied to a family’s final monthly tuition payment.
  • 2024-25 Tuition: $15,300 per family JK-9
  • Annual Technology Fee: $400 per student in Grades 9+
    • Each student will be provided with a MacBook to use during high school and keep following graduation.

Bursaries and Fundraising

KCS has a few bursary options. All bursaries require the completion of an online application that includes CRA information.

The cost of tuition assumes that everyone will participate in fundraising and commit to regular volunteerism.
