Nature Art

Integrating Arts and Literature is always a great way to give the written word a tactile and visual reality. In a recent art project, the Grade 7/8 students gave form, texture and colour to nature poems by weaving colourful lines of poetic imagery together with found objects they had collected on a nature walk. Their projects also included textiles: bits of colourful twine, ribbon, and even leather. Check out the projects below!
