Before & After School Program

Hello!

I would like to welcome your family to Kingston Christian School, After School Program. My name is Dawn Hood, and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with many years ministering to children and their families.  It is my goal to run a program that is safe and enjoyable for your child. I will run a program that involves structure and yet allows for flexibility and free choice.  Craft, gym, stories, games, snack, learning times –including Christian Education—are all on the agenda.

When you enrol at KCS, you are also enrolled in the Before and After School Program to use as you need it.  This is a fee for service program and families are billed for their usage at the end of each month. Parents are asked to call or email the school if students will be in the program unexpectedly on any given day.

FEES

The After School Program (ASP) will run from 8-8:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m.  This includes a healthy snack made on site, and all supplies. $3 is the fee for Before School care, and $13 is the fee for After School Care (per family).  Families are invoiced monthly. Families who are late picking up their child(ren) at 5 p.m. will be assessed a fee of $5 for every 15 minutes or portion thereof until the student(s) are picked up.  Parents are encouraged to pick up their child(ren) promptly at 3:25 p.m.  In the event parents are late picking up their child(ren), the child(ren) will be placed in the ASP at a fee of $5 for the first 15 minutes, or $13 if pick-up is later.
