Bayridge Nursery School is a creative and caring environment specifically designed to meet the social, emotional and development needs of preschoolers.
At Bayridge Nursery School we seek to offer a Nursery School of superior quality that will provide a warm, supportive, stimulating and creative environment for each child. The Nursery School presents a program that clearly reflects our sincere appreciation of the Christian perspective of life.
Operated since 1992, the nursery school moved to Kingston Christian School in 2005.
The program is run by Caroline Prinsen, who has her B.A. and B.ed. from Queen’s University.
Assistant Janet Wall has her Early Childhood Education diploma from St. Lawrence College.
Teacher Michelle Vandermeer also has her B.A. and B. Ed. from Queen's Univeristy.
Bayridge Nursery School is licensed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services, with an adult to child ratio of 1:8.
We run three programs, on Monday and Wednesday mornings, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, as well as Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
In each class there is space for 16 children aged 2 ½ to 5.
Through their experiences at our Nursery School, your child will be exposed to situations that will stimulate:
- curiosity, initiative and independence

- gross motors skills
- communication skills
- fine motor skill development
